Visiting Nurse Program
The NMCRS Visiting Nurse Program is one of the services provided by the Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society.  The Society is a private, non-profit organization that provides assistance to Navy and Marine Corps families in need.  For additional information about the services available through the Society and the current office locations, please go to: www.nmcrs.org or
The mission of the Visiting Nurse Program is to provide health education and resource information to Navy and Marine Corps families.  We are available to make home visits or hospital visits, or to teach classes in order to help patients better understand the health quesitons they have.  Our nurses work closely with military and civilian healthcare providers so that Navy and Marine Corps families have the information they need to get and stay as healthy as possible.

Visiting Nurses can provide education on health topics such as care and feeding of new babies, dealing with diabetes, controlling your weight, how to stop smoking, making your home safe for a small child or an adult with physical limitations, taking medications correctly, understanding a chronic medical condition, and many other subjects.
